West Cigarettes

West cigarettes is a German tobacco brand owned by Imperial Tobacco. Since the early 90s it has become a popular brand in more 100 countries, with particular strengths in Western, Central and Eastern Europe. Today West Cigarettes is the second largest selling cigarette in Germany, the leading brand in Slovenia and Slovakia and a strong performer in Russia, Azerbaijan and Poland.West has been the principal sponsor of the McLaren Formula One team, renamed West McLaren Mercedes, since 1997. In July 2005 West terminated its relationship with McLaren due to a European Union ban on tobacco advertising.
